What your Kids Can Expect
These classes focus on early childhood development and Grade 1 readiness. Designed in consultation with occupational therapists, our program supports the achievement of key developmental milestones. Sessions incorporate playful movement and dance using rhythmic apparatus such as rope, hoop, ball, and ribbon to encourage coordination, creativity, and motor skills.
Our beginner classes introduce young gymnasts to the foundational elements of Rhythmic Gymnastics. Emphasis is placed on basic body movements and the correct use of each hand apparatus, laying the groundwork for future progression in the sport.
These classes cater to Level 1, 2, and 3 gymnasts who participate in competitions featuring pre-choreographed routines. Competitions range from fun, introductory events like “Ready or Not” to more formal regional competitions such as the Western Cape Championships, helping gymnasts build experience and confidence.
At these advanced levels, training becomes more intensive while still maintaining a supportive and positive environment. Gymnasts are encouraged to show strong commitment and discipline as they work towards qualifying for National Championships and earning their Western Cape colours.
